moldovan driving license

hi,does anyone know if a moldovan driving license is legal in the uk?
You can drive for 12 months. After that, you will have to get a provisional UK license and then do the test etc for a full UK license. You cannot exchange your license for a UK one as there is no agreement between UK and Moldova.
