DVLA quick question-passed test (address change)

I have passed my driving test recently.
The examiner issued me the pass certificate. He returned me my provisional licence as it has got my old address details.

How do i apply for my full driving licence with updated address?
I was told to send my
driving pass certificate +
provisional driving licence+
proof of new address (bank statement , utility bills etc)
along with completed D1 form available at the post office.

Do i need to send my identification details again (BRP and passport)?
I do not want to send this unless its necessary.

Please advise.

You are supposed to inform DVLA of a change of address immediately, I believe they can fine you up to £1,000.

Hi wanderer,
Thanks for the reply. Yes its important to change address on provisional or full licence. Just read it on the GOV.Uk website. Just spoke to DVLA enquiries, they advised to send D1 form along with provisional licence and test pass certificate.

Also in order to update address, they asked me to enter the current address in section 2 of the D1 form.

There is no requirement for ID documents again as i am only changing address and applying for a full UK licence after passing the test.

Regards,
