Migration from Finland

Hello,
I am posting this question on behalf of a friend who has just arrived from Finland to the UK. If anyone could help that will be highly appreciated.
This friend of mine arrived to the UK around 3rd of June 2016 with the family. As an EU national, what are the things that they need to do as a matter of urgency please?
Secondly, the wife has a degree as a social worker; are there any documentation she needs to obtain to be able to work in the social services please?

What is his wife's nationality?

Apply for NI is the first thing they should do.
What nationality is your friend's wife?
She will need to contact the relevant Council to find out if her qualification is accepted. Social workers go through stringent checks before they can work and as she will have no 'history' in the UK, this might be a bit of a hurdle.

Register with local health authority in order to access health service:

Join a local library.

Apply for NI number through Job Centre or Department for Works & Pension. They both need an NI number to work.

Thank you, yes, they have both obtained their NI now. In terms of exercising their treaty right, what do they need to do please? Is it just to look for work?

A job seeker is expected to be able to get employment within 6 months.

Apart from obtaining NI, they were also looking for work, registered with GP etc

Make sure they generate a comprehensive papertrail of evidence that will be used later to file for EU documentation & etc.

Job seeker
4.1 A job seeker is a person in search of work for the first time or those between jobs or in
training. An EEA national must be able to provide evidence that he/she is actively seeking
employment (invitations to interviews, rejection letters from employers). However, where
the EEA national provide evidence of receiving Job Seekers Allowance, they would have
had to show that they were actively seeking work and have a genuine chance of being
engaged, and so additional evidence (invitations to interviews, rejection letters from
employers) of seeking work would not be required. A job seeker is expected to be able to
