hi,

i will be travelling to UK in 2nd week of september. i have a t1g visa and have no plans to come back to my home country before a year.

can anyone point me to a shopping and packing checklist which i should follow? if such a list is not available on this forum yet, lets make one to help all first time travellers like me.

Chest X Ray with a report.
Cash (possibly some coins if you manage to get)
More cash in some card (prepaid Axis bank etc)
All your certificates of study, certification
Your empooyment related documents
UK contact details of frieds if you have
Dont bother getting a UK sim card from out side, you will get one in airport as soon as you come out
Warm clothes
Some home made snacks, spices which u will miss here
