Hi,
I am a Tier4 student visa holder and my family (wife and 2 kids) have got the dependent visas. My family will be joining me here in december. My wife is 3 months pregnant and I wanted to know whether the child birth (delivery) is free for tier 4 dependents or not? If not, then how much the cost can be and whether there is any insurance policy available that can cover the delivery costs, etc.
Please advise ASAP.
thanx

If you are studying on a course lasting more than 6 months, and if your wife and children are coming here to live, not just to visit you, then you are all entitled to free NHS treatment, including maternity services.

Pregnant women, women who have given birth within the last 12 months, and children are all entitled to free prescriptions, too.

Your wife (and the rest of the family) needs to register with a GP, and then your wife will need to register with the midwife attached to that GP's practice.

this not entirely clear but if you are on a dependant visa all costs are free in relation to medical care. Ask the midwife for your baby book and it will have all you need to know
YOu should be able to to get Pakistan passport in the UK
