First time entry into UK after Tier 1 (GM) visa issuance

Hi,

I understand this might be a repetitive question, but I wanted to urgently clear the doubts that I have in mind.

My Tier 1 (GM) validity dates are from Oct 4th 2010 - Oct 4th 2012. I am still in India since I am serving my company's notice period. I plan to enter UK on Jan 23rd 2011.

1. Will I have any problems in entering UK on Jan 23rd since it would be more than 100 days since the visa was issued?
2. In general, is there any time limit for entering the UK on Tier 1 visa after visa issuance?

Thank you.

1. No
2. No

The only impact it will have in future is for extensions and that you would need two extensions in order to apply for ILR.

Hi ,

There is no problem to enter but you have to come early and secure allot of things including the main " job factor" . With my experience , it needs 2 month so sooner the better and start sending your CV and if you are " lucky" arrange an interview with employer before coming here to uk

. I wish you best of luck !
