prescription charges

Hi All,
My Husband is here on a spouse visa. i have recently lost my job and am claiming job seekers allowance. Can you please tell me, does my husband have to pay for prescription charges?. I know I am exempt becasue I am on this benefit, but he is obviously not on this claim for job seekers allowance .
