Collection of BRP despite having eVisa?

Hi team,

Hope you are doing well.

I am looking for the right advice for BRP versus evisa.

I extended my GTV in August this year from outside of the UK and received approval for extension till 2029.
I have received an entry vignette on my passport and a mail that my BRP is ready for collection. It is also mentioned that the BRP is valid till 30th dec 2024.
In parallel, I applied for evisa and received a mail to view my evisa which confirms my immigration status till 2025.

My question is: do I still need to collect my BRP even if it expires this year?
I am finding a way to avoid the travel as my mother is in medical treatment and it’s unlikely for me to travel at this point.
- if I don’t travel to pick the BRP, is it ok considering I have the eVisa?
- will I face any issues if I don’t stamp the entry vignette provided and do not pick the BRP?
