TIER 1 Exceptional Talent: can be certificate of sponsorship a reason for refusal?

Hi everyone,
I've got endorsement for TIER 1 Exceptional Talent visa and I'm working on my application for the Stage 2.

I started looking for a job before receiving a positive decision on Tier 1 ET visa and the company that I'm going to work for in the UK prepared the certificate of sponsorship for Tier 2 visa (just certificate, I haven't applied for Tier 2 visa)

Question: can this certificate of sponsorship be seen as the reason for refusal by the Home Office?

Thank you for helping with this :)

I don't have the UK visa, I've applied outside of the UK

You should be fine.

CoS will expire in 3 months and it should not affect your application. There is no obligation to use this CoS or to finish application process for Tier 2.
