Police issue disclosure - stage 2

Hello folks,

I've recently been endorsed for a Tier 1 ET. I'm now preparing stage 2 of the application. As my current leave in the UK is as a Tier 4, I need to apply for entry clearance from my home country.

In two incidents (in 2015 and 2019), I had been reported as a missing person to the local police force. This resulted in welfare checks made by the police. This was because of mental health issues I had at the time. The police officer who I spoke to did not believe this could impact a visa application.

As there's no criminal charges or civil penalty, I can confidently tick the 'no convictions' form.

I would like to know whether you believe these events should be reported on the Tier 1 ET stage 2 application form? I can make a note of these incidents in the 'Additional Information' field at the end of the form.

I will pay for the Priority Service. Do you think they will take longer to reach a decision because of this information?

Inclusion of former passports in application

Hi.
In stage 2, we're asked to provide the current passport only. But, should I enclose the previous passports as well since my current UK visa and visa to other countries (USA, Canada, Japan, etc) are in it? Would that make any difference? The form asks us to provide data about the full travel history.

Kind regards.

I cannot see why that would have any impact on the application or any reason why it should be reported in the application form.

If you are not asked for those, you don't need to submit. They used to ask for copies of all previous passports, but if that has changed, just follow the guidelines as current now.
