What does National Academy exactly mean?

Hi all
I am applying under peer review category of the exceptional talent visa. I have prepared my CV, personal statement and a recommendation letter from a professor I collaborate with in the UK.

However, the guideline says that I need further documents, such as a proof that I am a member of a national academy. I am not sure what this means exactly.

I have a permanent position as a biology professor. I work at a governmental research institute in my country and I also teach and supervise graduate students. Does this mean I am a member of a national academy?

Thank you

The Tier 1 exceptional talent visa has been replaced last year by the Global Talent Visa.
