Route 4-Peer Review

Hi,
I did apply for endorsement under route 4-peer review on 19th of September. Home office forwarded my application to the Royal Society on 20th September. I am still waiting for their decision. Royal Society says on their website that, they will usual return application within 5 weeks. I am not sure why I have not heard back from home office. Is it normal to take longer than 5 weeks to get a decision. I appreciate your thought on this. Thank you.

It's not normal. You should contact them after 6 weeks, but before that do check your spam folder.

Wow! Congratulations!
Please can you share your achievements? What are the things you use to support your application?

Thank you. I did provide my 11 US patents as lead inventor and co-inventor and several peer reviewed journal articles as a support for my expertise. Additionally, I was named researcher in Horizon 2020 project (Euro 3.4 M, this alone should have been enough to go through fast track endorsement, route 3. Unfortunately, I didn't realise that I can apply for global talent visa at that time!).
