Switching from Tier 2 Dependant Visa to GTV Dependant for 4 Years

Hi,
Currently I am the main applicant and on GTV visa (3 Years) after switching from Skilled Worker Visa. My wife and kids are on Tier-2 Skilled Worker dependent visas and expiry date of visa is 13th April 2023. Completion of one Year is on 18th March 2022 to 18th March 2023. Can they apply for switching to GTV dependant Visa for remaining 4 years in order to complete five years for ILR with continuity?
If main applicant is on three years GTV Visa then depandant can apply for four years GTV dependant visa?
Regards
Rizi

Dependents will get the same visa duration and validity as the main visa holder. They won't get a visa that is valid for longer than your visa

Thanks CR. Can you please answer this query?
IF I will apply on ILR after completing three years then whether they can get extension for one Year ( as a ILR dependant or GTV dependant ) to complete 5 years duration of ILR?

They have to get a 3 year extension via GTV dependent route (and pay NHS fees). If they go via ILR dependent, that'll reset their ILR clock.
Partial Refund IHS Fee (you get less time on your visa than you asked for))

Hi Team,
I have applied visa for my Dependants for 3 years on GTV and paid IHS fee for 3 Years. But Dependant Visa is granted for 2 Years 5 month and 15 days.
10 weeks gone. No automatic refund has been done.
Please guide me how to make partial refund?
Regards
MR

When does your visa expire??
You were advised in February that they would get the same visa duration as you.

Also likely no ihs refund due as they applied for a 3 year visa in line with yours and an expiry date same as yours.
