Absence days when applying for citizenship after GTV route

Hello,

I am a GTV holder, and I recently noticed that why this path is very generous with the number of absences in order to apply for ILR after three years, in order to later apply for citizenship, the limit of 450 days and 5 years still seems to apply. Did anyone have such an experience?

Thank you

What kind of experience are you asking about? If you don't fulfil naturalization requirements, you just have to wait until you do, unfortunately.

Immigration and naturalization are two different pathways.
Immigration journey ends at ILR, since that type of leave allows you to stay in the country however long you want. A lot of people stay on ILR for decades, as they can't/don't want to apply for citizenship.

Naturalisation is separate from immigration rules (of which ILR is the last step) and has it's own set of requirements under the British Nationality Act.

Thank you for the replies, this pretty much answers my question.
