Peer review and UKRI-funded path for endorsement

Hello everyone, I have a query about the endorsement required for a Global Talent visa (Academic/Researcher). I have already submitted my application through the peer review path (exceptional promise category). However, today I got to know from my University HR team that my university is willing to support me with a fast-track endorsement application (UKRI-funded path).
My question is: Can I apply for another endorsement application while the peer review one is in the process? I know the situation is quite tricky. The HR team was not very responsive earlier, so I applied for the peer review option out of no alternatives. Thanks very much in advance.

I couldn't find any guidance on having two simultaneous endorsement applications, but it's evident that someone can get endorsement from one institution and one route only. I guess you most likely might have to withdraw the first - as long as it's still under review -, but not sure whether this is possible.
UKRI has an email address where you can contact them for GTV-related queries. See
UK Research & Innovation. They normally respond within a few hours/days and should be able to advise in this case.
Jobs on Global Talent Visa

Hello everyone,
I have a query regarding jobs that could be secured on a Global Talent Visa. I recently got endorsed by The Royal Academy of Engineering and am ready to apply for a Global Talent Visa. Unfortunately, I will not be able to join the job for which I secured a Global Talent Visa.
Now I have a query if I apply for other jobs, what are my chances of getting jobs in the UK, given that I will have the right to work in the UK? My educational background is in Mechanical Engineering which I completed overseas (not in the UK) and have decent work experience. Any tips in the matter will be highly appreciated.

Hi,
Thanks very much for your reply and insights.
Fortunately, I received the endorsement by peer review soon after I posted the query.
