Choosing Between RAEng and Tech Nation for Visa Endorsement

Hi all, I'm facing a dilemma on which visa endorsement route to choose and would appreciate your advice.
I'm an experienced machine learning and generative AI researcher working in the research division of a top-tier company (think FAANG) for the past 5 years. I completed my PhD 4 years ago and have been actively publishing work in top conferences like NeurIPS and CVPR both during my PhD and while working at the company. I've also worked on internal company projects, but can't share evidence due to IP concerns.
Applying through RAEng seems more natural given my research background, but I don't have strong connections with UK scholars who could provide recommendations. I'm acquainted with two UK "eminent" individuals through colleagues, but I'm unsure if that's enough to meet the "how the eminent person knows you" criteria.
Alternatively, I could apply through Tech Nation, but it might be harder to meet all the requirements since my industrial contributions are mostly internal. Furthermore, while I have advised on work that led to oral conference presentations, these were delivered by interns.
Any thoughts on which route I should take?
Cheers!
