Hi,

Got the GTV via peer review, exceptional promise, have 2 years left currently but want to apply for a postdoc which lasts 26 months, so there will be 2 months I cannot cover with my GTV, will this affect the type of job I can look for or this can be negotiated with the university?

With a GTV you can do any job except those specified in the approval letter received from UKVI.

If the job contract is longer than the validity of the GTV, you simply need to apply for an extension.
