Global talent Visa (GTV), unemplyed after two years

Dear All,
I am asking on behalf of a friend. She arrived in the UK on a Global Talent Visa (GTV) and has worked for two years. She requires one more year to complete the three years needed to be eligible to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR). Would she still be eligible to apply for ILR if she is unemployed during the 12 months prior to submitting her application?
