about to apply for ILR (GTV), but dependent needs to extend

Hi Everyone,
Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, but I'm receiving some heavily conflicting information and I'm going a bit crazy. I'm hoping that the experts here can help clarify the situation and the options for me and my partner.
I'm on a 5-year GTV that expires in April. I'm currently eligible to apply for ILR and I am planning on doing so next month. My dependent partner has been on my Visa since November 2020, so she won't have enough time in the UK to be eligible to apply for ILR when I do. She needs to be on my Visa until November 2025 before she can apply for ILR. I have two questions:
1. If I am granted ILR next month, can my partner extend their existing visa as a dependent of a tire 1 visa holder, even if I have ILR? Does me getting ILR affect their visa classification, or affect the calculation of their time spent in the UK?
2. When they apply for an extension, it looks like it can only be extended for a set period of three years. Is this correct? and is this the correct link that they would follow to make the application? https://www.gov.uk/global-talent/your-p ... d-children
Thank you in advance!
