Clarification on IHS Fee for Dependant Visa Extension Application

Dear Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

My partner has recently submitted an application for a Global Talent dependant visa extension, along with our two children, for a period of three years.

During the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) payment stage, the following summary was generated:

IHS Payment Summary
Name: Miss xxxxx
Date: 05 July 2025
Total IHS Amount to Pay: £7,761

I would like to clarify whether this total IHS fee of £7,761 covers all three applicants (Miss xxxx and two children), or whether it applies only to Miss xxxxx.

Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Muhammad

Query Regarding Early Application for Global Talent Dependant Visa Extension

Dear Support Team,

I am writing to seek clarification regarding the timing of a visa extension application. My partner and our two children are currently on Global Talent dependant visas, which are due to expire on 25 September 2025.

We would like to apply for a 3-year extension of their GTV dependant visas. I would appreciate it if you could confirm whether there would be any issues with submitting the application now, approximately 2 months and 20 days before the current visa expiry date.

Your guidance on whether such an early submission is acceptable, and if it may affect visa duration or IHS charges, would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Muhammad

There are no issues in submitting a visa extension application a few months before expiry date. It seems you already did so!

All the fees, IHS, etc need to be paid again.
