working in UK without work permit

hi , I'm from Poland and have been working in Uk for 5 years now , nobody ever asked me if I was registered with WRS , do I have to register now or is form EEA1 right for me ? I want to claim Child Benefit and they ask for Registration number . Any ideas ?

Under EU treaty, if you relocate to a country other than your home country, you need to register if your stay is longer than 90 days. If you are working, you need to register as soon as you take up employment.

I can't help you with the exact form(s) required.

As far as claiming child benefit, I also can't assist. I'm used to the U.S. system where your taxes paid determine (to a large part) what benefits are available.
