Hello All,

Can you please let me know how is the job market scene in UK for an IT professional with 8+ year experience in C on platforms like various flavors of UNIX, Windows and VxWorks? I've worked on various domains like networking, printing and avionics and have done some projects in C++ also.

I've got my Tier 1 VISA and it is valid from 01-09-2008. Depending on the job market scene, I want to decide when to travel to UK. Any inputs from people working in UK or already searching job in UK will really help me to take a decision.
