Tips for a face to face interview- Programming jobs

Hi guys,

I might be attending face to face interviews next month for the position of software developer in embedded. I would like to know what kind of q's(both technical & others) do they ask and how is it different from interviews in india. Experienced ppl pls comment Ur help is highly appreciated.
1) Do they ask you to write code?
2) Do they emphasize more on other aspects of u as a person more than ur tech knowledge
3) what kind of questions do they ask in a HR interview?
