Any regulating UK body in my profession.

Hi all,

My profession is related to Petroleum and petro-Chemicals field. I have applied for the HSMP and shortly hope to get approval.

Is there any regulating or professional body in the UK, Where I can register and become a member. I hope this would help me job search while in UK.

Mr. Chess, moderator your opinion please.

I am from INDIA and widely travelled in UK. Southampton, DORSET, Norwich, Reading, Oxford, London, Alcester, Essex, Brighton Etc. Actually I got a good job in UK but WP came in between as I was on a visitors visa.
