self employment in France

Hi guys.Who knows anything about self employment in France for non EU citizen but with EU permanent residency holder.I am staying in Cyprus last ten years as self employer,i got Cyprus ID card marked alien, health insurance card(which is valid on all EU)and certification for permanent residency(it is not EC Long Therm Resident Status).I visit France last year for two weeks with french shengen visa,it was easy to get it,but only for 15 days.I can take visa for 90 days as well,but i wont stay in France and work as self employment person.As i know i must move to France with valid visa and register myself in residence city prefecture .
