A person can be employed or unemployed
if he is employed than
he is getting salary through as PAYE (PAY AS U EARN ) is in employment
if he is not under PAYE than he is self employed and follwing are types of self employed
1. Sole trader - required to be registred with HMRC and to pay weekly contribution NI2 £2.3 / weekly
2. Partnership -registration with HMRC required
3. Joint venture no registration separate procedure with HMRC
4.Limited Company ownership -no registration required with HMRC.
SO self employed includes Sole trader , partnership firms , jt venture and Ltd company .
only sole trader and partneship firm need to pay register with hmrc.
