Points to consider before choosing an umbrella company ?

Hello,

I google'd and there are 100's of best umbrella companies to choose from.

I did some reading and came across terms such as IR35, different tax codes etc, didn't make much out of it.

How do I choose which one is simple, hassle free and good to use ? What are the points I should consider or questions I should ask while choosing an umbrella company ? What is the average fee they usually charge ?

If one of you have been using one for long and would recommend it, that would be very useful. If it is a problem mentioning the name here, then pls PM me.

Any pointers on this would be greatly appreciated.
