Can a overseas dentist work in training post on family permi

Can a dentist work in training posts with work permit family member of a EEA national?

I have been reading about all the types of visas for immigration to the Uk for family members, but I wouldnt classify in those visas(tier 1, 2,3,4,5), with my right of residence(through my EEA partner), is anyone who can guide me about this?

If you are a family member of EEA citizen and in the UK under EEA regulations, then there is no restriction on employment as a doctor / dentist in training posts.

I'm here with another question if you can please answer.

You mentioned that I dont have any restriction on employment as a dentist in training posts being a family member of EEA national.

Do you know if this "no restriction on employment" is limited for a period of time or unlimited?

The general rule is EU citizens and their family members should be treated the same way as UK citizens.

British citizens do not need a work permit in order to work in UK, and neither do EU citizens and their family members. British citizens have to get national license in order to work as doctors, nurses, lawyers in the UK and so do EU citizens and their family members. They are under equal obligation to fulfil the requirements.

Sorry I'm confuse. I know that I dont have any restriction of employemnt, but I was checking the GDC website and I think I would be registered with them on a temporary registration? this temporary registration they say is limited for 5 years for people who is preparing for the dental examinations at the same time until they get fully registered? my question is, me as partner of EEA national have this restriction of 5 years or not ? Could I continue working unlimited time in dental training posts even more than 5 years(no restriction on employment)and ( I say this cos you dont know when one can pass the ORE)

betterme,

You are confusing yourself un necessarily...if you have qualified from outside eea then u need to sit ORE exam or you can temporarily work as an SHO upto max five yrs. IF ur eea qualified then you have no restrictions becz ur eea citizen. hope that helps
