Guidance on a work visa

Post by Bournemouth85 » Mon Oct 01, 2018 4:09 pm

HI All,

My Moroccan girlfriend is wanting to move to the Uk from Casablanca in Morocco. She is 28 and currently works for Adidas, within a specialised job that pays far more than the average Moroccan wage.

We met in Madrid last September and since then i have been to Morocco 6 times to see her, we have also met in Paris, Rome, Florence and soon to be Barcelona next month.

She is willing to give up everything to move to me in the Uk ( Bournemouth ) and we are both fully committed to making this work. She has already applied for a number of jobs as i understand she will need to have a job in order to qualify for a working visa?

She is fluent in 4 languages and speaks perfect English, she also has a masters degree and is highly educated.

I would like some advice as to what steps she needs to take in order to make this work and in what order and how long it is likely to take. Is it worth paying for an immigration specialist to make sure all the correct paperwork and documents are available and submitted?

She will be living me me, in my owned house, although it may well be she ends up in London due to more prospects and job opportunities for her there. I have a well paid job and am able to support her where needed although she wants to work and start a new career in the UK.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

James
