RE: change of job whilst applying for spouse visa

Post by laiba85 » Mon Jun 18, 2012 2:26 am

My husband is submitting our visa documents this week and I started a new job when I came back from Pakistan a month ago and have been working since but I'm applying for better paid jobs to meet the requirement after 9th July if visa gets rejected which I'm confident it wont due to strong evidence. My question is if I change jobs and theres a chance they can make a random check will this cause an issue for me. Can I change jobs while this is in process???

Provided you tell your current employer of the situation, so that if the UKBA do contact them, they don't tell them something you don't want to, then you'll be ok. Make sure your current employer knows, tell them you have another role lined up.

In terms of having strong evidence, that's a statement no one should use, because in Pakistan, VISA applications, people have been rejected even when they have strong evidence.
