Hi.
I've posted in my FLR(M) on 6th July and I'm waiting to receive a letter for biometrics to be done. Since submitting my application, I've received new funding for my job (in research) that will extend my work contract by 2 years. I have a couple of questions which I hope someone can please advise me on:
1. New work contract
- should I send UKBA a copy of this? My old contract finishes 31st October this year (hence my current Tier 2 visa expires mid November), but I don't think I indicated anywhere on the FLR(M) that my employment is fixed term. The new contract will take me up to Sept 2014. For employment and finance, I submitted bank statements, payslips and P60 for my husband and myself.
2. Accomodation requirement
- I own a 2 bedroom flat which my husband and I are living in, while he is in the process of selling his former matrimonial house. Instead of sending them my orginal title deeds, I obtained title register and plan printouts from the Land Registry (£4 each) which is a much smaller document. I noticed later that this doesn't actually say how many rooms the flat contains. Should I clarify this with the UKBA and provide proof of the size of the property? Only the 2 of us live in the flat most of the time, and my husband's son spends every other weekend with us (in the 2nd bedroom).
Has anyone submitted documents after they sent in their application form, and if so, were the additional documents also considered?
Thanks very much in advance.
