HELPPP, EEA stamp for Civil Partnership

Post by lil » Wed Jan 31, 2007 7:43 pm

Hi all,

I need your help, I really appreciate any information you can give me.

1) If i take my and my partner´s passport to immigration control coming back to the UK, together with the Civil P certificate, can i get the EEA stamp in there, right away?

2) Does the EEA stamp actually names the Civil Partnership and/or my partner´s name?

Thanks for your help. :)

Doesn't your partner need to apply for an EEA Family Permit, or a Residence Card to gain entrance as your family member? Someone else's advice, please.

The Residence Document (prior to the introduction of Residence Card) doesn contain the name of the EEA national family member. But haven't seen the new Residence Card, so don't know.
