marrying someone who has been deported.

Post by khan1992 » Thu Dec 05, 2013 1:05 pm

Hi,
i am in need of some advice...
i met my partner 3 years ago...he was from Afghanistan and entered the country illegally around 7 years ago.
This year in June he was detained and kept in detention,we made a bail application however was refused,we then decided it would probably be better if he withdrew his case and leave the uk without a fight,as he was told that he would receive a years ban and if he was to marry a British citizen this would become void...i want to know if this is the case if i was to go ahead and marry him in Afghanistan...and also because there is no British embassy in Afghanistan is it possible to marry in Pakistan.

regards
