Parent of a British child, apply outside the UK

I met a girl 2 years ago and we were in a short relationship for 2 months. I went back to Laos to work after finishing my master degree. She went to Laos with me for a short holiday and she was pregnant. She wanted to give birth baby and I am still in touch with her until now. She doesn't want to marry me because she lost her trust in marriage. Now my daughter is nearly 1 year old and I really want to come over the UK to look after my baby. I support my daughter financially.
Now my ex-girl friend ( baby's mother) wants me to look after baby and she can go to work, she regrets that having baby too early. She wants to give up her right to the baby for me. I am very worried for my daughter, and I want to care for my daughter. I only met her once since she was 10months old when her mum took her to Laos for holidays. I have read the guidance for visa Parent of a child in the UK (VAF4A and Appendix 5) apply outside the UK, and I really don't know how to start applying for this visa?
All I have: - I have savings that I can cover the cost for me and my daughter without accessing to public funds
- I have IELTS 6.5
- DNA parental test proving relationship between me and my daughter
- rented accommodation for me and my daughter
I hope you guys can help me to find the best way to reunion with my daughter ASAP. Being a father but only seeing her through Skype is so hurtful.
