Appendix FM 1.7 Question

Hi,

I almost know the answer to my question but I want to be sure about it:

My friend's husband is a British citizen who worked for two companies at the same time to meet the requirements of Appendix FM. His wife who is my friend is going to apply for Spouse visa using FLR(M) form.

He worked for these two companies for 7 months. Just a week ago, he left one of them and now he is only working in one company. Definitely the salary from that company alone is not enough and he has to rely on the combined salary from the two sources.

But as I read the guidance, you cannot count on income from a company you already left it. The only exception is when you are with the current employer for less than 6 months and then you can use the income from other employers in the last 12 months which is not the case here.

I only want to be sure about my findings. Please correct me if I am wrong.

You're correct. Do they have savings? What is the spouse's current status/leave?

She is on Tier 4 but unable to work and their saving is not enough. Her husband did a silly mistake.
