Do we need Paper Visa (VAF 4) and Appendix 2 from India

Hi, My wife and daughter are applying Family settlement Visa from India.
I guess we don't need Paper visa now (VAF4A), I just want to know do we need Appendix 2 (FINANCIAL REQUIREMENT) also on Paper also or those details are also included in online form ?

When my wife is filing the Settlement visa, There is a message displayed that
If you are applying for settlement as a parent, grandparent or other dependent relative of someone in the UK, your sponsor needs to complete and sign the sponsor undertaking Form (SU07). which can be found at

By Signing this form, your sponsor confirms that they will be responsible for your maintenance and accommodation in the UK . you should include this completed form when you make your settlement application.

I have included this in the application, I guess I don't need separate Paper Appendix Form.
Please confirm.

Yes you do need the Appendix 2 form. This form specifically outlines all the information on how you meet the financial requirement.
Print and complete it by hand.

You complete the VAF4A Online and print off Appendix 2 and hand complete it.

You do not need the SU07 if you are applying for spouse.

What did you select in the Sponsor Details section when it asks 'What is their relationship to you?'.

I'm on ILR in the UK and my wife is going to apply for a spousal/dependant visa from outside and needs to fill out the application form. The answer choices to above question does not list 'Husband', 'Partner' or 'Spouse'

The only promising answer to this question was 'Other Relative'

What did you select here?

I selected Yes and then the question came as

How are you exempt from the English language requirement?
My daughter is just 3 years of age so I have entered that

I am under 18 years of Age.

is that correct ?

the spouse sponsor does not need to do su07 /12 the undertaking ?

but we read on here somewhere that some ones's application had problems for not submitting it??

so perhaps that must have been non spouse application then ?

No need to submit SU/07 Form. You do your own sponsorship declaration and supporting letter on behalf of your wife and children

and thats what we did

i also printed off the paper vaf 4 but only to practice on because that bit is online only.

but I am surprised that SU07/ 12 the undertaking is not for spousals

why is that ?

why does that not apply to spouse visa ? they ask for the income and or savings so rudely and imperatively.
