Hi everyone hope I can get some valuable advice.
I want to apply for spouse visa for my wife.
From my main job I earn £17,000 per annum where I have been working for few years now and I have had second job which is self employed where I have been working since Jan 2013 and now it's over a year and have earned £2000 so combined I get over the threshold so I am considering applying under category A combined with category F.
Category A is straight forward but when I look at the evidence and requirement for category F it's confusing me my questions are
Will they accept my earnings in cash where for few months for my self employed earnings i was paid cash but from July onwards I was paid in bank ? (My main job is not a worry I have all the payslips and bank statements for that and also letter of employer and contract)
Going to accountant is one thing but making sure he meets the requirements is my worry ?
The immigration guide from ukba says
(h) One of the following documents must also be submitted:
(i) (aa) If the business is required to produce annual audited accounts, the latest such accounts; or
(bb) If the business is not required to produce annual audited accounts, the latest unaudited accounts and an accountant’s certificate of confirmation, from an accountant who is a member of a UK Recognised Supervisory Body (as defined in the Companies Act 2006);
(ii) A certificate of VAT registration and the latest VAT return (a copy or print-out) confirming the VAT registration number, if turnover is in excess of £73,000;
(iii) Evidence to show appropriate planning permission or local planning authority consent is held to operate the type/class of business at the trading address (where this is a local authority requirement); or
(iv) A franchise agreement signed by both parties.
I can only produce (bb) as evidence others don't apply to my circumstance because of being a sole trader I do not need to produce audited accounts so I will need to produce unaudited accounts and accountants certificate of confirmation. I wonder how much this will cost me (it's not a worry for me as I want to make sure my wife gets hear) and how do I check if the accountant is member of uk recognised supervisory body (they might not be)
In summary I want to apply under category A and F so I need help and advice
Thanks for help in advance !
