To visit an asylum seeker as a family member

Post by luckythegrate » Sun Apr 20, 2014 12:28 pm

Hello
I'm asylum seeker and I'm with my partner and the baby. Our case is still in progress and we want to get marry soon. So we register with the council and we got a date as well. But there is no family in the UK is it possible some one of my family to attend for the wedding as a visitor? As I'm a asylum seeker I don't have my travel documents with me. When i register my application I hand over all the travel documents to UKBA. but I do have my Asylum Registration Card with me. Is that possible?

As you've not been granted asylum in the UK yet nor under humanitarian protection in the UK (I assume), they'd be general visitors rather than family.
