Hello friends,
My partner has been with the same employer for more than six months. Her salary has been £18500 per annum. She got a pay rise which now put her salary at 18870 per annum. We applied for FLR M using 10 months of the old pay slip and 2 payslips at the new salary. There was a short fall of about 39 pounds to meet the requirement of having earned 18600 in the previous 12 months. As I was on a visa that allowed me to work we added my payslip of about 40 pounds to make up for the short fall.
My questions are were we right to use category B on the basis that even though my partner had been with the same employer for more than 6 months, she had a varied income due to her salary increase and therefore met requirements of category b.
Also is it allowed to add both our incomes to meet the first part of category B i.e that of having earned 18600 in the last 12 months ?
