Applying for daughters settlement visa

Hi,

My daughter was born in India and never been to UK. Planning to get her to UK on a settled visa.
I have a question regarding name mismatch on her indian passport .My daughters last name is incorrect on indian passport.
Correct name is KOPPOLE and printed as KOPPULA. The error happened from her municipal birth certificate which had incorrect
lastname. We have entered the correct last name in her passport application,howver they seem to have printed from her birth
certificate. I am planning to bring her to UK on a settlement visa soon. Do I have to get the name correction done before I apply for
her visa? Is this manadatory? Can I bring her to UK with the existing incorrect lastname, and once she is here apply for
correction? Will this be a problem while applying for UK visa?
P.S. I have applied for a new birth certificate with correct name. I can provide the same for visa application and a letter mentioning the name discrepency.If possible,Trying to avoid the process of applying of reissue of indian passport for this lastname correction.
