Granted marraige/fiance visa

Post by iankavan » Thu Sep 11, 2014 10:37 am

Hi there, my fiance was just grated the marraige/fiance visa which is valid until the end of February next year, but she wants to finish a course during those 6 months.

does anyone know how long she has to be in the UK for during those 6 months ,its a multiple entry visa so, ie can she go do the course for 2 months and then come back once its finished or does she have to stay in the UK for the whole 6 months?

There's no law preventing her going in and coming out. However it might be wise to get married first which is the purpose of the visa being granted,so that if she's stopped she can explain herself.
Could you pls do me a favour?
When did you apply and did you send documents to Sheffield in UK?
Will be grateful for that vital info.

We applied through Moscow and she did the interview on the 1st of august and it was granted on the 21st of august, Had to send additional documents to the embassy in Moscow on the 17th ( more recent payslips and the like). We where told between 3 weeks and three months at the interview for a decision, was worried when we go the email that it was ready for collection so quickly , thought it had been refused.
