I would like understand better the immigration process to England.I am Brazilian, 26 years old. I'm in a
relationship with a Polish girl, 23 years old. In order to
understand my situation on the immigration process I have read all information
concerning the visa on the site
https://www.gov.uk/government/organisat ... mmigration. I think is the EEA Family Permit is the most appropriate
visa to my situation with my girlfriend. So I have some doubts regarding this visa.
I met her on 30 May 2013. We have developed our relationship online. We
wrote long messages on Facebook and we had lots of hours talking on Skype,
we sent to each other lots of mobile phone messages. We still do all of this. We
became very close friends. She invited me to spend a few days with her
in Poland. Despite the difficulties I accepted. On 4
November 2013 it was our physically first met, in Krakow airport. We spent 14
days together. I went back to Brazil, but we decided to keep our relationship as
a couple. We keep in touch daily with conversations by Skype, messages on
Facebook and mobile.
My girlfriend was invited by her aunt to live and work in England. She
thought it would be good because it was hard finding a job in Poland. She
moved to England on 11 May 2014. Now my girlfriend works, and she lives in a rented flat in England. On 25 September 2014 we met again and we spent 19 days together in England. We are decided to stay together permanently.
My question relates to our relationship as Unmarried Partners (unmarried). A
visa prerequisites to EEA Family permit for Unmarried Partners is a relationship
of at least 2 years. The couple must live together (show proof of cohabitation),
in the same residence during that period? Is my situation with my girlfriend enough to
satisfy this prerequisite?
Kind regards,
