HO Not Informed -Name & address change after FLR(M) & BRP.

Post by Vinny2001 » Sun Jun 07, 2015 11:13 am

Hi Guys,

I am looking to get the ILR application processed for wife and child. They got FLR(M) and BRP in 2013. Expires on 12 Aug 2015.

We moved to a different house in Aug 2014 and Wife got a new Indian passport with change to her Surname ( using mine now) in Dec 2014.

While reading the documents for the ILR I read a leaflet which says that we should have informed Home office about the change in name and Address.

Will this shaft the new ILR application?

Unfortunately, it could.
"You must apply for a new BRP within 3 months. You may be fined up to £1,000 or have your stay shortened if you don’t."

Oh joy...:(

a few more questions related to the ILR application..

1. I am confident that we can re-use the PTE Academic tests she cleared for FLRM) as the application form says that even expired qualifications can be used if they were used in previous applications.

( cleared the Life in the UK test yesterday).

2. What about the new NHS charges?
