Tourist Visa for parents

Post by PS87 » Fri Jun 19, 2015 9:24 pm

Hi Team,

I did a search in the forum for my requirement got few details, however i have few queries still.

Case is, i need to bring my dad and mom to London for 45 days to spend time with his grand-son and do sight seeing. I'm employed in one of the top 10 IT companies working for vendor in London from Apr(visa till mar 2016). I work in Tier2-ICT category and CoS is 32500.

I can't sponsor them, as i don't have enough bank statements to reflect my balance so i planned to sponsor indirectly. i.e transfer my funds to my relative who inturn put them in my father account so that father can say source as relative given back the debts which got for their sisters marriage. Sounds good ? or any suggestion ?

From My side i will provide the documents or details
1) Invitation letter
2) Passport visa copies(mine and dependants)
3) Invitation email from my official id - saying you can stay with us in our accommodation
4) Utility bills when any to be submitted (gas or EB bill, Council tax)

Documents planned to show as part of the investment and travel expenses

1) Own house worth 60L(INR) = 60,000(GBP) - As asset
2) Savings(FD) - 1L(1000GBP)
3) Savings A/C - 1.85L(1840GBP) ——> Indirect transfer which i was talking earlier
4) He earns 22K per month(220GBP) + I put 5K every month - Balances are not well maintained here.

Total for trip ===> 2940(rate@97) for two persons

They are going to spend time with his grand-son and visit london. Mom fully dependent on Father

Queries:
1) As my DAD only has got bank A/C and mom not having, is it ok if i showcase single A/c(father’s) with amount for both persons ?

2) In invitation letter, for my father i will mention he has got assets on his name and he need to return back. but no assets available on my mom name but she is fully dependent on Dad and she has got Arthritis problem. Need to know how to mention them in invitation letter ?

3) as they are gonna stay with us, i will get permission from landlord. Is it enough or do we get permission from council ? and house is 1BHK i won’t specify in the email, but i will just mention as i will be providing accommodation.

Is there any way uk visa team will be aware of this ? Any recommendations ?

4) I calculated the expenses considering 20(living allowance per day)*2(persons)*45(days)=1800(gbp), Sight seeing(300 gbp). is it enough ?

5) Can i be partial sponsor for their travel tickets? shouldn’t confuse it ?

6) if i miss any other aspect, please let me know.

Thanks in advance…!!!

-Regards
