English Language test

Post by leotam » Tue Oct 20, 2015 9:22 pm

Hi all,

My wife currently holds a spouse visa (2.5 years) which due to expire in a few months, she will need to apply for an extension (another 2.5 years).

She already took and passed the Cambridge English KEY test (level B1) 2 years ago for the application for her spouse visa initial application.

I am aware that Cambridge English KEY test will become history after November 2015 and new English tests are already available.

However : I saw this on the FLR(M) form

"If you are not including this because you provided it with your previous successful application
for leave with your partner in this category, or leave as a parent please tick this box"

My questions is :

Does my wife need to take a new English test for her spouse visa extension application ?
Or is her Cambridge Key test result still valid for the extension application ?

Many thanks in advance.

Tam
