Family Visitor visa followed by Dependent Visa

Post by Ranjani » Tue Dec 01, 2015 4:01 am

I work in the US and my husband works in UK on Tier 2. We married a month ago in US and my husband had to return after 2 days. We are in a long-distance relationship for 2 years and have been visiting each other on general visitor visa. I am planning to apply for a family visitor visa as I am visiting him for Christmas vacations for a period of 10 days. (I had a general visitor visa and it is expired). Do I need anything other than our marriage certificate as a proof of the relationship? I am also planning to apply for the dependent visa later in Jan/Feb next year. I am seeing that there are lot of denials in such circumstances, hence would like to know what all documents would be required? We are both Indian citizens.
