Spouse visa within uk ????

Hi
I hold an Indian passport with indefinite leave to remain. I want to marry my long term girl friend she is from South America. She doesn’t need visa to visit uk for 6 months. I want to if get married in uk can we apply for dependent visa within uk or she has to apply for dependent visa from her own country.

If she is here as a visitor she cannot switch.
