student visa change to spouse visa

Hi all,
Could you please help me, i am an international student from pakistan currently in UK, ia m getting married ( NIKAH) to my fiance of 5 years in forst weekof april, she is british national. My current student visa expires on 30th of april 2008. ia m wondering if i can change my student visa to spouse visa before the current leave to remain expires. for that i know i have to apply for COA, but it will be difficult as COA requires atleast 3 months visa left on the passport. MY main question is can i travel to my home country with my wife and apply for spouse visa from local british embassy. what do you suggest, your suggestions would be much appreciated,

If there is no time to obtain a COA and marry in the UK, then alternatives may be:

1. Marry in your home country and apply for a spouse visa; or

2. Apply for a Fiancé(e) visa in your home country. Marry in the UK. Switch to FLR(M); or

3. If you have documented proof that you have been living together for at least two years, then switch to FLR(M).

Subsequently apply for SET(M).
