Accompanied vs Unaccompanied dependant child

Hi there,

Can someone please explain what the disadvantages are of applying for an unaccompanied dependant child visa. The way I see it, it means anyone can travel with the child without permission - is this correct?

Regarding listing people to accompany dependant child, if I list both myself and the child's father; does that mean we both have to travel with our daughter or that either of us can travel separately with her?
