hello
i am from senegal. got married with a french. we have a 6 month old baby. i have got my residence card. if we want to go to senegal, what do i need to do for the baby as he hasn't got a passport or residency.

If your baby is French, then he would need a French passport to travel.

I doubt anyone here would know about Senegalese nationality laws...maybe visit the website of the Senegalese embasssy in London and ask them if the baby is a dual French-Senegalese citizen. If so, s/he would need a Senegalese passport to enter Senegal.

If not a Senegalese citizen, s/he would be travelling as a French citizen, and does not need a visa.

Sorry... Forget about french passport for now as it takes a very long time to get one especially if you dont live in Frnace. we applied for it but havent heard from them yetr. thans why we are considering to apply with a senegalse passport. so what do i need to do. EEA2?
Baby cannot be british. So plaese help me we need to travel urgently.

Apply for a senegalese passport, then ask your wife/husband to make an appointment with the HO for the residence certificate for themselves and/or the baby. EEA1 applications can be made in person (by appointments only).

Yes, that is the correct application form. Your spouse is French, so is your child. Your spouse could apply for a residence certificate for themselves putting a child as a dependant (since the child is EEA family member).
